Zeno of Elea (c. 495 BCE – c. 430 BCE) was a Greek philosopher, best known for his paradoxes.

During the Peloponnesian War, the philosopher Demokritos the misthios Kassandra to recover Zeno's writings to help him develop his new theory.[1]
