The Wooden Hammer was a large, two-handed wooden mallet designed to serve as an artisan tool. While its head was no more than a simple log latched onto the pole, it could still double as a makeshift heavy weapon. One was given to the French Assassin Arno Dorian by Police Minister Charles Cochon de Lapparent as a reward for solving a murder at a monastery.[1]
