West Mediterranean Trireme

The West Mediterranean Trireme was a military trireme that sailed the Mediterranean Sea east of Alexandria during the 1st century BCE.

At some point in 47 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa boarded it, eliminated the Roman army's soldiers stationed there, and looted their valuables.[1]
