Veðrfölnir was a hawk that sat between the eyes of an unnamed eagle high in Yggdrasil's branches in Norse mythology.

Veðrfölnir and the eagle were said to live at the top of Yggdrasil. Ratatoskr, a mythical squirrel, ran along the tree trunk, carrying gossip between the birds at the top and the dragon Níðhǫggr at the bottom.[1]
