The Tyrrhenian Sea is a sea part of the larger Mediterranean Sea, off the western coast of Italy.
In 46 BCE, Aya, alongside Phoxidas and Damastes, travelled through the sea in order to reach Rome. During the journey, their fleet was attacked by a Roman fleet. With the assistance of Brutus and Cassius, they were able to navigate through the sea safely, docking at the port of Antium.[1]
