The Artemis' Bane

The Artemis' Bane was a sword inspired by and dedicated to Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and the Moon.

During the Peloponnesian War, the sword was in the possession of a rejected Daughter of Artemis, but ended up in the hands of the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she helped the woman recover gear which would allow her to infiltrate the Daughters of Artemis.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Artemis' Bane, a sword in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Ancient Battle Sword, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the recycled model of Conductor of Souls/Sunslayer/Sword of the Duat, weapons in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
