The Teuthis Camp

The Teuthis Camp was a military camp in the Mount Psophis region in Arkadia, Greece. Found in the northern part near the border with Elis, this camp was occupied by a small military force.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the captain, burned their war supplies and claimed their valuables.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of the camp references a city in ancient Arkadia, mentioned by the geographer Pausanias in his Description of Greece.
