A group of sea urchins

Sea urchins are small marine animals found in oceans across the world.

Due to their prickly spines, which can penetrate human skin, they can be a hazard to careless divers. Sea urchins use small rocks and seaweed to help camouflage themselves on the bottom of the sea.

The pirate Edward Kenway often encountered sea urchins while diving to the depths of the Caribbean Sea in order to plunder shipwrecks.
