Sancta Maria's Abbey

The Sancta Maria's Abbey was an abbey in Essex dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.

During the 9th century, the abbey was raided by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan.[1]
