San Donato is a commune in the outskirts of Milan, Italy.

In 2012, it was used as a simulated location by Abstergo Industries during the first and second stages of their Animi Training Program.[1][2]
The simulation depicted a small, quaint community set near a large fortification's walls that were built into the mountainside. At the village's center was a large building with a cloistered courtyard and a modest, two-story belltower protruding upwards at one corner. The dilapidated houses scattered around it betrayed signs of poverty, with buildings on the outskirts even having been wrecked.
