The Raven's Rock was a rock formation next to the Phorkys Anchorage in Ithaka, Greece. In Greek mythology, the site was where the king of Ithaka, Odysseus, planned the murders of his wife's suitors upon his return from the Trojan War.
During the Peloponnesian War, the site was a home to a flock of ravens, and they circled the stones even when disturbed when the place was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during her travels.[1]
