An 18th Century French Rapier

The Rapier was an 18th century sword designed for officers. It was mainly ceremonial, but it could still be used in combat. During the French Revolution, the French Assassin Arno Dorian acquired a sword of this type.[1]

Description
This officer's sword is largely ceremonial, but still quite effective in a pinch.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Rapier, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Unity, initially needed to be unlocked by connecting with the Assassin's Creed: Unity companion app. However, on 18 February 2015, Ubisoft released Patch 5 which removed the need to connect to the companion app and Assassin's Creed: Initiates.[2]
