Quintus Cloelius was a Roman soldier who oversaw the Chersonesos Roman Fort in Cyrenaica during the 1st century BCE.
Around 47 BCE, Quintus and his men were placed in charge of cutting down the trees surrounding the fort in order to complete the construction of the fort. When they succeeded in doing so in two days, the Roman pronconsul, Flavius Metellus, rewarded them with two jugs of wine.[1]
