Palermon was a Megarian man living in the town of Megara, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War Palermon was charged by the leader of Megaris to court Odessa, a local farmer's daughter, whose estate the leader wanted. Believing Palermon to be loyal to the leader's cause like his family, the leader also had faith that Palermon would be able to deal with Odessa as required.[1]
