| The Ottomans were the leading faction of the Ottoman Empire.
| |
| | |
| During the later half of the 16th century, they had broken a truce with the Ottoman Assassins, via the Assassins' leader Ishak Pasha, who was also an Ottoman Vizier. In Constantinople, Ottoman Guards could be found throughout the city maintaining peace, and would not be overly hostile toward Ezio unless crimes were committed. The Ottomans could easily be identified by their green and orange clothing, and their distinct middle eastern style armor. While their Byzantine counterparts wore dark red clothing and Greek style armor. The Ottomans were ruled by Sultan Selim the first who was preceded by his son towards the end of the campaign in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Also in Revelations, Ottoman Weapons can be found on dead Ottoman Guards, and by finishing Guild quests which includes the Ottoman Mace, Janissary Kijil, and Ottoman Agile Dagger.
