Mỹ Tho is a city in South Vietnam.
History[edit | edit source]
In 1968, United States forces set fire to a Viet Cong base camp in Mỹ Tho during the Vietnam War, an event that was captured by a photographer.[1] In 2012, this photograph was used by the Assassin Clay Kaczmarek in one of the Glyphs he had hidden in the Animus for his successor, Desmond Miles, to find. The theme of this Glyph was weapons of war, and the rocket launcher in the photograph was the answer to Clay's clue, "its open mouth delivers the kiss of death". In September of that year,[2] Desmond successfully deciphered this Glyph to unveil its message that Apple of Eden 4 was present in 10th century China.[1]
