The Mercury Temple was a former Roman temple dedicated to Mercury, the Roman god of finance. It was located in northeast of East Anglia, England.
During the 870s, the now sunken temple was explored by the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir, who recovered a Roman artifact within the submerged ruins.[1]
