Le Téméraire (English: The Reckless) was a member of the French Brotherhood of Assassins operating during the French Revolution.
He was wrongly arrested for stealing from the chapel of Sorbonne. The real thieves hid among the scholars of Sorbonne, however the gendarmes already believed that justice had been done. A team of Assassins caught the thieves and disposed them, before returning the stolen loot to the chapel.[1]
