King's College was a college in New York.

This school originally was in the first floor of Trinity School in 1754 but was later moved to its own location in 1760.[1]
It was soon shut down and was used as a hospital around the time of the fire of 1775. After that it was closed and did not re-open till the end of the war.[1]
It was renamed Columbia University mainly to get rid of the word King in the name. It was then torn down and moved in the 19th century to midtown and only the original cornerstone was used in the new location. The rest was torn down and the land sold.[1]
