Ibrahim Hakkı Erzurumi (1703 – 1780) was an Ottoman Empire polymath, being, among other things, a poet, an astronomer, a physician, a philosopher, and an encyclopedist.[1]
Legacy[edit | edit source]
By 1869, a copy of Ibrahim's Marifetname (Book of Gnosis) was used by Egyptian Assassin Gamal Sabry as a symbol of danger to warn his fellow Assassins.[2]
