Garos was an old friend of Barnabas who lived during the 5th century BCE.

Biography[edit | edit source]

During their journey to the island of Samos, Barnabas and Garos had heard of their names being called. While Barnabas covered his ears to drown out the chants and attempted to warn Garos, he found that Garos had disappeared and was never found again.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, Barnabas shared the story Garos' disappearance to the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, aboard the Adrestia. Barnabas speculated that his old friend would have probably become a king in a faraway land.[1]
