Garden of Artemis

The Garden of Artemis was a campsite of the Daughters of Artemis located in the Black Forest, north of the Heraion on the Greek island of Samos.

Dedicated to the Greek goddess of hunting and the Moon, the garden was a small settlement complete with huts around a pool, and an altar. During the Peloponnesian War the camp was visited by the misthios Kassandra, who claimed the Daughters' valuables.[1]
