Annia Galeria Faustina (Latin: Faustina Major; 16 February 100 CE – October/November 140 CE), commonly known as Faustina the Elder, was a Roman Empress and wife of Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius.
After her death, Antoninus erected a temple in her honor. 20 years later, Antonius also passed away and the temple was rededicated to both of them.[1]
