Endumion's Nemein

Endumion's Nemein was a small Roman outpost in Marmarica, a region between Libya and Egypt.

In 47 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa infiltrated the location and looted the valuables found there.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The outpost's name is a combination of the Greek words, Endumion (Ἐνδυμίων) meaning "to dive into, to pull, to draw, to lead", and némein (νέμειν) meaning "to give what is due".
