Egil the Fornicating Crow was a serial killer at large in England in 865.
Known for stealing food and murdering several innocent Norsefolk who had hoped to trade with him, Egil was declared a wanted criminal under Danelaw and under the rule of both King Alfred of Wessex and King Burgred of Mercia. Reeve Othswith of Grantebridgescire thus placed a number of wanted posters around Grantebridge with details surrounding Egil's crimes.[1]
