Affixing "Albert" to the end of male descendants and "Victoria" to that of female descendants. Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn (Edward Augustus; 1767 – 1820) was the fourth son and fifth child of King George III.[1] He was married to Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, and their only child Victoria reigned as Queen of the United Kingdom from 1837 until 1901.[2]
