"A boy still needs his father around. Besides, Dikaios is a smart boy. He'll be fine."
―Hippokrates[src]-[m]

Dikaios was the son of Pentheus. He lived in Thebes in Boeotia, Greece during the 5th century BCE.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Though young at the beginning of the Peloponnesian War, Dikaios was considered to be smart by his father's physician, Hippokrates. Still, as Pentheus was dying, the man wished to ensure his son's future and tasked the Spartan misthios Kassandra to weaken their family's rivals.[1] Following Pentheus' death, Dikaios was slated to become the head of their wealthy family.[1]
