Hyrrokin is an evasive figure in Norse mythology, only appearing once at the funeral of Baldr. She arrived riding a giant wolf with twisted serpents for a bridle, then proceeded to shove the funeral ship into the water with such force that the earth quaked and the rollers beneath it set on fire.
