Both Adam and Eve seem to have white markings covering their bodies which occasionally glow blue. These lines do not follow blood vessels, indeed, the markings on the back are straight and angular. Their designs look slightly like circuit boards, and their perfectly angular, symmetrical design makes a natural origin less likely. The designs of these lines also are similar to those of the character Minerva, who Ezio encounters in the vault, which hints that they Adam, Eve and Minerva might be from the same race of humans. Furthermore, Eve appears to have something attached to her left arm.
