The Animus and the first civ stuff made the Desmond sequences suck in AC3. It's like Ubisoft did not want to use Desmond they only gave us 1 and a half month to time span in AC3. They gave themselves too short of a time span we mostly use the animus letting Desmond not doing anything good despite this being his last game. He didn't have any character devolpment and his build up was all hype.

I'm sorry if i may seem pessimistic but I'm really disappointed at the modern sequences for Desmond as he was my favorite character and I high expections for his last game I felt it was a huge slap in the face for long time fans.

If the end of the world thing was gone the modern story could have been more interesting him delving into Abstergo secrets, conspiracy theories, combating a super organization, and the war between the faction itself.

I'm sorry if i may seem pessimistic but I'm really disappointed at the modern sequences for Desmond as he was my favorite character and I high expections for his last game I felt it was a huge slap in the face for long time fans.
