I told you, i'm not talking about Templar ties. And Cesare is an example. How do we know that his 11 (11 at least) illigetimate childrens all grew up out of the Borgia family? That being said, it is almost guarantee (in my opinion) that Ezio was well known in the Borgia family. That family was pretty big too, and it would not be a surprise if a Borgia himself hunted down Ezio to kill him. It would make perfect sense actually.
