It would help if your link worked.
Does not mean they can not show some indication of templars on both sides... for example in the trailer released, the 'patriot' could have had a templar pendant around his neck... in fact i half expected it to finish with seeing one on him.
To your other points, I merely inquired as to whether the cross over bonuses were a two way thing or not. As to the other, well, i can not really comment with out seeing your link
