Bertran Chaverot, director of Ubisoft Brazil, publicly apologized to the Brazilian fans of the series Assassin's creed by the scene where Desmond circulates through the streets of cidade.A scene shows badly-dressed people, with tents with pirated products and a very dirty environment. Bertran spoke with Sebastien Puel the game's producer, and he apologized too,and it was clear that the scene was made hastily without proper care, according to an American mindset and stereotyped about Brazil<ref name="AC3">''[[Assassin's Creed III]]''</ref>

São Paulo is Brazil's largest and most economic city, and the fourth-most populous city in the world.

History[edit | edit source]

By 27 September 2012, an Assassin team was located in the city. Secretly, there was a double agent in the team who was leaking their position to the Templars, which forced them to delay their progress and find the spy. After confirming the spy's activity by 6 October, they cut off contact with the Assassin headquarters. Although Shaun Hastings had hoped they would move to another city and alert command once they were reestablished,[1] their continued radio silence by 10 April 2014 made Gavin Banks' team concerned.[2]

On 2 December 2012, the Assassin Desmond Miles traveled to a stadium in the city to find a power source for the Grand Temple, which was worn as a bracelet by a "tycoon's trophy wife" who was unaware of its true nature as an Isu artifact. Desmond infiltrated the stadium in the midst of a mixed martial arts tournament and made his way to the woman's booth, only to find that the Templar Daniel Cross had already killed the woman and taken the power source. As Daniel fled with the artifact, Desmond chased him, eventually defeating the Templar and his Abstergo guards before escaping via a subway train.[3]
