| The '''Ottomans''' were the leading faction of the [[Ottoman Empire]].

| During the later half of the 16th century, they had broken a truce with the [[Turkish Assassins|Ottoman Assassins]], via the Assassins' leader [[Ishak Pasha]], who was also an Ottoman Vizier. During Ezio's stay in Constantinople Ottoman Guards could be seen patrolling the city for illegal acts. Ottoman Guards were easily distinguished from their Byzantine counter-parts because of their green, and orange clothing, and most importantly their middle eastern style armor. Ottoman Guards were also not openly hostile to Ezio unless illegal actions were permitted. Items that were found on dead Ottoman Guards were Akce, Medicine, Bullets as well as weapons like the Jannisary Kijil, Ottoman Agile Dagger, and Ottoman Mace.
