1718 – [[Nassau]] is under a [[British Empire|British]] [[Blockade of Nassau|blockade]] and hell is about to break lose any minute, as [[Peter Chamberlaine|Chamberlain]] [sic] threatened to kill every single [[Piracy|pirate]] on the island. We've been watching this pirate, [[Edward Kenway]] who we believe has a chance to become a strong [[Assassin]], and we have cause to believe his life is in danger. There's a secret group operating around the city, watching us, Assassins, for a long time now, but they've never made a move before. We've learned that Edward is about to attempt [[Commodore Eighty-Sixed|killing]] Chamberlain and that this secret group has just sent out orders to its members to kill Edward.
