RE: Uploading pictures[edit source]

What's your issue? --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 02:42, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

I read the new image policy but the source still confuses me. If I get a picture from a Youtube video, do I put the title of the video as the source and then but the Youtube user's name as the author? Or do I put myself as the author, since I created that particular image? JumpInTheFire13 03:50, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

Hi JumpInTheFire13, I am sorry to jump into the middle of your conversation but I was having the same problem until Vatsa1708 helped me. He suggested that I add the required information ({{Information}}) to the images. If you need help with the template and licenses, you can find it here. Then simple go to the image page (Main Photo section on the wiki) and hit 'Edit' and add the information to the image. I hope that helps. Kaloneous 03:57, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

That helped a lot Kaloneous. But I still don't know what to put for the source. If the image is a screenshot, do I put the game that it's from as the source? JumpInTheFire13 04:43, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

I think it this situation the second option 'Screenshots' is the most appropriate as long as you add adequate information in the description or source section (whichever better applies to the image) in the case of youtube just say briefly that it is an in-game image taken from a youtube walkthrough. It is really up to you how much info you want to put in the description as long as it is relevant and not too long. I hope that helps. Kaloneous 04:49, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

Even if you take the screenshot from a youtube vid, the author is still Ubisoft and the source is the game itself. --VatsaGentek 05:02, July 24, 2011 (UTC)
Okay thanks Vatsa that clears things up for me. And thanks again Kaloneous. JumpInTheFire13 04:52, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
I tried uploading a picture but when I click upload it takes me to the same page again, as if I forgot to enter something. JumpInTheFire13 05:53, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

Hello JumpInTheFire13,

I saw that you stated you have the encyclopedia in one of the forums. Would you mind telling me how it came into yur possesion? Where did you get it and are you in the United States???Solo assassin 03:54, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
