Deletion[edit source]
Then any suggestion on to deal with this article besides the name? Are we going to be creating an article titled "Father of Ajax" with a Conjecture tag on it? XOdeyssusx (talk) 15:24, January 2, 2019 (UTC)
- By its very definition, an in-game term cannot be conjectural. Sadelyrate (siniath) 15:39, January 2, 2019 (UTC)
- Which is why I asked for any alternative suggestions for this. It still doesnt change the fact that this individual appeared in the game with ingame description and stuff. Not to mentioned how in real life, Ajax's only father is Telamon, unless Odyssey alters it in-universe that he has a different father. We can list the details under another name if its in regard to how a {{Conjecture}} should going to be used. XOdeyssusx (talk) 00:36, January 3, 2019 (UTC)
- The character is referenced at least once in-game, by way of the Lighthouse of the Father of Ajax (and possible again elsewhere). For this reason, the deletion tag is unwarranted. A discussion on the exact naming of the article is a seperate matter. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 10:30, January 3, 2019 (UTC)
- To answer Odeyssus's question, if the name "Telamon" is not explicitly given in an Assassin's Creed source, it is technically conjectural if we use it. With that being said, however, given that we know his name in real-life, logically-speaking the ideal conjectural name to use for him is "Telamon" since it can be safely assumed that it won't be contradicted in-universe if it were to be given at any point. Hence, marking the name as "conjecture" would just be technicality's sake. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 14:35, January 4, 2019 (UTC)
