'''''Assassin's Creed: The Ming Storm''''' is a trilogy of novels written by [[Yan Leisheng]]. The first novel, [[Assassin's Creed: The Ming Storm|''The Ming Storm'']] was released on 31 March 2019 in [[China]], before being translated into French and English in 2020 and 2021 respectively. The second novel, [[Assassin's Creed: The Desert Threat|''The Desert Threat'']] was released on 19 October 2021 in China with a planned English release date of 4 October 2022. The third and final novel has yet to be announced.

The series follows Chinese [[Assassin]] [[Shao Jun]] in a continuity separate to the main line stories. The first novel adapts the spin-off game, ''[[Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China]]'' with some deviations, while its sequel is set to feature a completely original story about the Assassin.

==Development==
Originally not conceived as a trilogy, on 22 February 2021, through marketing of the English translation of the first novel, it was revealed through a press release by Aconyte Books and Ubisoft that ''The Ming Storm'' was the first novel of a non-canon trilogy starring Shao Jun.
