ISBN 9780674011977.</ref> shogun [[Ashikaga Yoshimitsu]], becoming able to mingle with the higher classes and get accustomed with their culture and preferences. Zeyami used his writing skill and created many plays meant to be enjoyed by these cultured people, establishing the {{Wiki|Noh|Noh theater}}. These "austere, ethereal, beautiful" pieces remain as the most famous Noh plays to this day.<ref name="Echoes Shadows 07"/>
