After landing, Griffin rented an SUV for the group and drove to a hardware store for shovels. They then drove onward to the city's countryside. Getting to the forest and eventually the ''Dolkkälla'' themselves, after they learned where the prong was they waited until evening to grab it. Griffin, alone, infiltrated the facility, but as Abstergo helicopters appeared, gunshots erupted, signaling trouble. Griffin, pursued by agents, raced towards the springhouse. Grace, Owen, and Griffin fought off Abstergo agents in a desperate struggle. Regrouping with Natalya the group tried to help Griffin, who though severely injured, urged them to leave him and handed Grace the prong. Despite Owen's objections, they fled, and Griffin succumbed to his injuries in a stream. Evading pursuit, they were captured by Isaiah and Abstergo agents, taking the dagger from Grace, announced his plans for [[Ragnarök]].<ref>''[[Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants – Fate of the Gods]]'' – Chapter 25</ref> [[Sean Molloy]], in a bulletproof self-driving SUV named "[[Poindexter]]", came up the road to their rescue.
