An '''uncharted island''' located in [[Southeast Asia]] was used as a hideout by members of the [[Zhawang Corporation]] in the early 21st century. ==History==
Circa 2023, after escaping from [[Yangon]], [[Myanmar]], with a [[Piece of Eden]] recovered from the [[Shwedagon Pagoda]], the [[Assassins|Assassin]] [[Nathan Zhang]] and [[Noa Kim]] sought refuge on the island while hiding from [[Abstergo Industries]]. Although Nathan intended to lay low to avoid detection by Abstergo so they would not lose the [[Lantern (Piece of Eden)|artifact]] in their possession, Noa believed that they needed to acquire [[Lotus disk|another Piece of Eden]] located in [[Angkor]], so they could use it to save [[Shimazu Sei]] and stop Abstergo's plans.<ref name="FT 105" />

Despite already knowing the artifact's location, Noa considered that they would be better prepared to retrieve it if they knew what challenges [[Edward Kenway]] had faced during his own quest for the Piece of Eden. As such, he used the [[Animus|Animus HR-8]] to relive Edward's [[Genetic memory|genetic memories]] while Nathan watched over him in the event Abstergo managed to track them down.<ref name="FT 105" />
