A '''trade delegate''' for a group of [[merchant]]s in [[Baghdad]] enlisted the services of the [[Hidden Ones]] in the 860s when they came under repeated attacks by [[bandit]]s.

==Biography==
In the 860s, the trade delegate contacted the [[Hidden Ones of Alamut|Hidden Ones]] to help investigate the attacks against local merchants from [[bandit]]s. Thus, he set a plan to catch the traitor with marked coins. In response, the trade delegate received the coins from the [[Hidden Ones|Hidden One]] [[Basim Ibn Ishaq]].<ref name="The Marked Coins">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]]'' – [[The Marked Coins]]</ref> From his findings, the delegate sent Basim to investigate a local [[perfume trader]] and inspect his quarters in the [[Oil Maker's District]]. After the perfume Trader's death, the trade delegate abducted by bandits, instructed by the perfume's trader brothers [[Alnilam]] and [[Alnitak]] for the murder of their brother. Caged at the [[Spymaster's Camp]], the delegate was noticed missing by [[Abu Jafar Muhammad ibn Musa]], whose notice sent Basim to investigate. Following a trail, the trade delegate was found and rescued by the Hidden One.
