==Biography==
Living as Katsuragi's ''gokenin'' master, The Katsuragi Agent joined the [[Kurai Eikyou]], a group of criminals that sowed discord and caused chaos around the locals of Yamato. Along his fellow conspirators, he took part in instilling turmoil around his community in Katsuragi and terrorizing religious temples and shrines.<ref name="Kurai Eikyou">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[Kurai Eikyou]]</ref>

In 1582, one of his students later met with the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] members [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[Yasuke]] and discussed how his sensei started to meet with new and dishonorable cohorts and disregarded his code. Following their clues, Naoe and Yasuke traveled to [[Gokenin Manor]], found the agent patrolling, and assassinated him. From his personal effects, they uncovered a letter between him and a [[daimyō]]'s [[merchant]] [[The Tsutsui Agent|advisor]].<ref name="Kurai Eikyou"/>
