'''Munychia''' is a hill in [[Piraeus]] where an ancient [[Greece|Greek]] [[Munychia Fort|fort]] was located.

In 403 BCE, it was the site of the [[Battle of Munychia]], fought between the pro-[[Sparta|Spartan]] obligarchy led by the [[Thirty Tyrants]] in [[Athens]] and the Athenian exiles led by [[Thrasybulus]]. The exiles took the fort with aid from the ''[[Mercenary|misthios]]'' [[Kassandra]] and later defended it against the Spartans led by [[Critias]].
