The '''Magistrate of Chalkis''' was the [[Greece|Greek]] magistrate of [[Chalkis City]], [[Euboea]].

==Biography==
In the 420s BCE, the Magistrate of Chalkis suffered from the onslaught of the crime syndicate plaguing his village called "[[The Dagger]]." With the help of his [[Slavery|slave]], [[Agapios]], he found leads to uncover their identity and location but were unable to act on them. However, a moniker was revealed of The Dagger's leadership, "The Kingfisher." When the [[Sparta]]n ''[[Mercenary|misthios]]'' [[Kassandra]] came to Chalkis City to help them, they all learned of The Kingfisher, which led Agapios believing his long-dead brother [[Neritos]] was the Kingfisher. After hearing this, Agapios ran to find his brother while the magistrate stopped his guards chasing him. He then asked Kassandra to aid him to rid The Dagger once and for all. Arriving at the [[Smuggler's Dock, Skyros|Smuggler's Dock]], the magistrate and his [[soldier]]s engaged in combat with The Dagger's men. Fortunately, Kassandra arrived to aid the magistrate to defeat their enemies. Together, the magistrate and Kassandra fought their way to the temple, where they found Neritos and Agapios talking. There, Kassandra talked with Agapios and decided on whether to give him a chance to save Neritos. However, Neritos proved hostile and wanted no part in stopping the violence.
