==Biography==
Madame Beaudry worked as an apothecary and was a rival to Dr. Samuel Maran. However, her business ran on buying tonics from her competitor, diluting her purchases, and reselling it to more people at cheaper prices. Beaudry was then confronted by Maran multiple times for her practices but did not allow his opposition to stop her business.<ref name="DOP">''[[Assassin's Creed: Unity]]'' — [[A Dash of Poison]]</ref>

One morning while working to work, Madame Beaudry was given and read a letter by Maran, who apologized for their unpleasant conversations and offered a new concoction as an act of good faith. In an alley, she tried the concoction and immediately died. Near her body, a homeless man found her, her purse, and the tonic she used. The man stole the purse's contents, but drank the tonic as well and then died. When the [[Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins|French Assassin]] [[Arno Dorian]] found their bodies, he investigated the crime and deduced Maran intentionally poisoned the madame. After Maran confessed to the murder, Arno took him to jail.<ref name="DOP"/>
