In the early 18th century, the [[Qing dynasty|Qing]] businesswoman [[Lee Huiyin|Madam Lee]] owned a '''warehouse''' in [[Macau]]. ==History==
In February 1725, the [[British Brotherhood of Assassins|British Assassin]] [[Edward Kenway]], following a tip-off from his friend [[John Young]], infiltrated the warehouse to steal [[salt]] and [[sugar]], which he needed for a remedy to treat a {{Wiki|cholera}} outbreak in [[Zhang's village]]. While hiding from Madam Lee's workers inside the warehouse, Edward overheard them discussing Lee's recent acquisition of a [[Hendrik's sea log|sea log]] belonging to the late [[Netherlands|Dutch]] sailor [[Hendrik]], which piqued Edward's interest.<ref name="EP 7"/>

However, before the Assassin could learn more, an oil jar was thrown into the warehouse, setting it on fire. Quickly salvaging what salt and sugar he could, Edward escaped the burning building and was stopped outside by Lee's workers, who demanded to know who he was. As Edward tried to point out that the fire should be of bigger concern to them, the workers were cut down by [[Shimazu clan]] [[ninja]], who were responsible for starting the fire.<ref name="EP 8">''[[Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple]]'' – [[Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 8|Episode 8]]</ref>

Recognizing Edward, who they had orders to kill, the ninja attacked him, but the Assassin defeated them, acquiring a [[katana]] from one of the slain ninja in the process. As the last surviving ninja was knocked down from his [[horse]], Edward tried to [[Interrogation|interrogate]] him, but the man ended his life using one of Edward's [[Hidden Blade]]s. The Assassin subsequently packed his salt and sugar quotas onto a horse and made his escape just as Dutch soldiers arrived on the scene.<ref name="EP 8"/>

Later, Madam Lee herself arrived at the warehouse, which was still burning despite her workers' attempts to put out the flames. Seeing the bodies of the slain ninja, Lee was informed that they were [[Japan]]ese [[Piracy|pirates]] and that they had been allegedly killed by a single man.
