The '''Kyoto Imperial Palace''' was the palace and residence for the {{Wiki|Emperor of Japan|Emperor}} of [[Japan]] situated in [[Kyoto]]. It was located in the [[Yamashiro]] province during the late [[Sengoku period]]. 

==History==
In 1585, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] members [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[Fujibayashi Tsuyu|Tsuyu]] returned the [[Imperial Regalia of Japan|Imperial Regalia]] back to [[Michihito|Emperor Ōgimachi]] at the palace. After handing the Regalia to Ōgimachi's servants, Naoe and Tsuyu finally succeeded in their mission from former [[Tomohito|Emperor Go-Nara]] to safeguard them.
