'''Karonhiaktátie'''' was one of the coleaders of the [[Kanien'kehá:ka]] village of [[Karonhiakèn:iate']] during the 9th century. Along with [[Konwahawíhshon]], he was in charge of tending to his people and the village's activities.

==Biography==
Not much was known of Karonhiaktátie's childhood, but as an adult, he appeared to be one of the Kanien'kehá:ka's village leaders. In 875 CE, Karonhiaktátie' met the [[Vikings|Viking]] [[shieldmaiden]] [[Eivor Varinsdottir]] of the [[Raven Clan]], who arrived at their village after sailing from [[England]] seeking the location of [[Gorm Kjotvesson]],<ref name="HG">''[[Assassin's Creed: Valhalla]]'' – [[The Hunting Grounds]]</ref> the [[Wolf Clan]]'s ''de facto'' leader<ref>''Assassin's Creed: Valhalla'' – [[Birthrights]]</ref> and [[Maegester]] of the [[Wardens of War]] sect of the [[Order of the Ancients]].<ref>''Assassin's Creed: Valhalla'' – [[In a Strange Land]]</ref>

However, Karonhiaktátie' was reluctant to help Eivor, as neither leader spoke [[Anglo-Saxons|Saxon]] or [[Norse people|Norse]] while Eivor was inexperienced in any {{Wiki|Mohawk language|Kanienʼkéha}}. However, when [[Sýnin]] landed on Eivor's arm, Karonhiaktátie' and Konwahawíhshon dropped their suspicions. As Eivor appeared to be friendly, Karonhiaktátie' stated that Eivor may be able to help the other visitor in their village. Thus, Karonhiaktátie' saw Konwahawíhshon lead Eivor to the other visitor, [[Olav the Unlucky]].<ref name="HG"/>

After Gorm's assassination,<ref name="HB">''Assassin's Creed: Valhalla'' – [[Hunter of Beasts]]</ref> Kanien'kehá:ka's nightly session of stories around the fire took place at her village. As the first orator was Konwahawíhshon, Karonhiaktátie' was among the small audience of Karonhiaktátie'. Once Eivor recounted the story of [[Loki]]'s treachery brought about [[Baldr]]'s death, Karonhiaktátie' and his people sat by and listened. At the end of Eivor's story, Karonhiaktátie' and Konwahawíhshon talked with Eivor, who revealed the [[Crystal Balls|Crystal Ball]] she took from Gorm and gave it to them, with the hope that they would know its [[Something to Remember|true purpose]] in time.
