'''Jeanne d'Orléans''' (13 September 1409 – 19 May 1432) also known by the anglicized '''Joan of Valois''', was daughter of {{Wiki|Charles, Duke of Orléans}} and {{Wiki|Isabella of Valois}}, their only child to survive into adulthood. As the wife of [[John II of Alençon]], she was also the Duchess of Alençon.

==Biography==
In 1424, Jeanne married John II of Alençon, the son of {{Wiki|John I of Alençon}} and {{Wiki|Marie of Brittany, Lady of La Guerche|Marie of Brittany}}, in [[Blois]] when she was aged 15.<ref name="WP">{{WP|Joan of Valois, Duchess of Alençon}}</ref>

On 21 September 1429, after the failed [[Siege of Paris]], Jeanne's husband, along with many others were present in [[Gien]] when [[Georges de la Trémoille]] announced the dissolution of the army on the order of [[Charles VII of France]], instructing Alençon to return home to his lands and wife. Jeanne died in May 1432 childless, her cause of death unknown.<ref name="WP"/>
